Product FAQ
Q. How accurate is your pressure sensor?
A. Our TV2 pressure sensor is accurate to ±0.002″wc
Q. Can the sensors be re-calibrated locally or do they have to be returned to the factory?
A. All sensors can be calibrated and characterized (adjusted) locally.
Q. Is your temperature/humidity sensor one or two sensors?
A. Our temperature/humidity sensors are combined in one sensor.
Q. How accurate is the temperature/humidity sensor?
A. The temperature sensors is ±0.5°C and the humidity part of the sensor is ±3.0% of ±1.5%.
Q. How far away can the sensors be located from the display?
A. Each sensor comes with a twenty-five foot wire, which can be extended so that the sensor can be positioned up to 200 feet from the display
Q. Can you see the differential pressure between the cleanroom and the anteroom and between the ante-room and the hall on the same monitor?
A. Yes. Each monitor can show the pressure from up to four sensors.
Q. Can I see negative and positive pressure readings on the same monitor?
A. Yes.
Q. Do I need different sensors for positive and negative pressures.
A. No. The same sensors can be used for either positive or negative pressures.
Q. Do I mount the monitor inside or outside the cleanroom?
A. It does not matter. Each sensor needs to plug into the monitor but the monitor can be mounted anywhere.
Q. How accurate are the sensors?
A. See the ‘Technical Details’ tab.
Q. Do the sensors need to be plugged into wall power?
A. No. Each sensors is powered by the monitor?
Q. How often is the display updated?
A. Every four seconds.
Q. How often is data logged?
A. This can be set to any interval between once a minute to once a day. Each sensor can have its own data-logging interval.
Q. Where should the temperature/humidity sensor be mounted?
A. It needs to be in what ever area is being monitored. Usually it is mounted in a corner of the room near the ceiling?
Q. Where should the pressure sensor be mounted?
A. The pressure sensor is a differential pressure sensor, meaning that it measures the difference in pressure between two rooms or areas. The sensor has twelve-inch two clear plastic tubes. Each tube is plugged into a passive port which is a small plastic plate with a tiny hole in the middle. Each passive port can be mounted on the inside of the ceiling of each area being compared. The sensor itself can be placed above the ceiling.
Q. How safe is the logged temperature, humidity, and pressure logged data?
A. Logged data is stored in non-volatile memory in the monitor. It can also be automatically backed up to a computer.
Q. Do you have iq/oq protocols for qualification of these units once installed?
A. IQ and OQ documents with check lists can be accessed on our website here: IQ, OQ Docs.
Q. If your SMS and Email TLS1.2 compliant?
A. Being TLS1.2 compliant is dependent on a couple of different things.
1. What version of .net framework is used to compile our TView software. We use the latest version of .net (4.7.1). This insures compliance.
2. The email and text alert portion of the TView software uses SMTP protocol. So if you are using your own SMTP server to do that, the compliance for TLS is based on the configuration of your server.
CUSTOM DESIGN YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL MONITOR
Choose the TV2 monitor with sensors for your unique situation. Choose the monitor with wired or wireless sensors to monitor a controlled space for temperature, pressure and relative humidity while logging, charting all data and receiving advanced alerts and notifications when conditions are unfavorable. The TV2 Custom Environmental Monitor Kit/Package can be easily configured to monitor everything from differential room air pressure to extreme cryogenic temperatures. Comes with everything you need to immediately start monitoring – power supply, free-forever software, and basic accessories.
A cost-effective solution for meeting various compliance requirements, including ISO 14644, 21CFR11,CDC, FDA, JCAHO & USP 797 compliance with a proven platform of reliability and security.
CHOOSING SENSORS
Each TV2 Quick-Check monitor has four sockets for sensors (wired or wireless)
- Temperature sensor -20°C to 80°C
- Extreme temperature sensors -200°C to 350°C
- Relative Humidity sensor 1% to 99%
- Differential pressure sensor ±0.5″wg
Wired sensors can be positioned remotely up to 200-feet from the monitor.
Wireless sensors have a range of ~60 to 100 feet.
NO MAINTENANCE FEES
The TV2 monitor belongs to you and although the logged data can certainly be copied to any computer or server, or even the cloud, it does not cost you any extra to do so. The data is stored in the TV2 monitor itself and can be copied to any PC. And all alarms are initiated by your monitor and not from the cloud. This means there are no monthly fees for maintaining your system or storing your data.
