DOCUMENTED PROOF FOR AUDITORS AND REGULATORS
The TV2 Freezer Alarm complies with all CDC, JCAHO, FDA and CAP requirements. It displays and prints charts or temperature lists for regulators or auditors as proof that inventory was properly stored and maintained. All logged data is stored in an encrypted format and can be electronically signed. All downloaded files are encrypted with 128 bit encryption. Once the data has been logged to the Vaccine Freezer Alarm it can never be changed, even after being downloaded to a computer as long as it is stored in the TV2 format. Of course, if they are imported into Excel the encryption is broken..
BUILT-IN CALIBRATION TABLE
NIST traceable calibrated sensors are available. Re-calibration can be done by metrology labs or even at your location. Each sensor has its own 3 point calibration table which is user accessible.
BATTERY BACKUP FOR POWER FAILURE PROTECTION
The Vaccine Freezer Alarm is powered via the USB cable plugged into a wall-power plug or a PC. If power is interrupted, the internal battery takes over so all vaccine temperature conditions are logged. Although the display sleeps after 20 seconds to preserve the battery charge all alarms are still responded to and all alert notifications are still sent. Batteries are automatically recharged when power is restored.
NO HIDDEN COSTS.
There are no monthly fees, paper charts to purchase or pens to replace. When you purchase the vaccine freezer alarm it is yours and there will not be any additional costs..
SIMPLE INSTALLATION: VIDEO
The vaccine freezer alarm is simple to install and use. Begin by placing each sensor, up to four, into the freezer you want to monitor and supply power. Each sensor has a twenty-foot wire which plugs into the monitor. If your freezers are further than twenty-feet away from the monitor addition extension wires can be added. Sensors can be as far as 200-feet from the monitor. A Setup menu will appear so you can set the date, time, logging interval and alarm parameters.

Product FAQ
Q. Will this work with refrigerators also?
A. Yes.
Q. How accurate is the temperature sensor?
A. Our Vaccine freezer alarm temperature sensor is accurate to ±0.3°C for regular freezers. If you need to monitor freezers colder than -30°C a thermocouple sensor can be provided which will measure temperature down to -200°C. The accuracy of the thermocouple is ±1.0°C.
Q. Can I monitor more than one freezers?
A. Yes the monitor can be used with four sensors.
Q. How difficult is it to install the vaccine freezer alarm?
A. Most users can install it in a few minutes.
Q. Do I need technical help to install the vaccine freezer alarm?
A. Not usually. If help is needed in configuring the alarm we can supply it via telephone, which is almost always sufficient. If you have a very large computer system you might need some help from your IT department.
Q. Can I see the freezer temperatures on my phone or from my home computer?
A. Yes if you use port forwarding. You might need some technical assistance from your computer guys to do this.
Q. Does the vaccine freezer alarm meet JCAHO, CAP, FDA requirements?
A. Yes. It exceeds the requirements of each of these agencies.
Q. Can I monitor a -80° freezer?
A. With the optional T-type thermocouple the TV2 can be used to monitor -80°C freezers or every cryogenic temperatures.
Q. How far away can the sensors be located from the display?
A. Each wired sensor comes with a twenty-foot wire, which can be extended to hundreds of feet.
Q. Are the vaccine freezer alarm temperature sensors wired to the monitor?
A. We offer both wired and wireless sensors.
Q. Do I mount the monitor in the office or on the side of the refrigerator?
A. It does not matter. Wired sensors needs to plug into the monitor but the monitor can be mounted anywhere.
Q. Do the sensors need to be plugged into wall power?
A. No. Sensors do not need outside power. The wireless sensors do require a 9vdc battery.
Q. How often is the display updated?
A. Wired sensors update every four seconds. Wireless sensors update between eleven and 20 seconds.
Q. How often is temperature data logged?
A. Logging interval can be set to any interval between once a minute and once a day. Each sensor can have its own data-logging interval. The default interval is every 10 minutes.
Q. How safe is the logged temperature data?
A. All logged data is completely safe. Logged data is stored in non-volatile memory in the TV2 freezer alarm. It can also be automatically backed up to a computer.
Protect Vaccines Stored in Freezers
The TV2 Vaccine Freezer Alarm provides complete protection. The Quick-Check display is color coded so that anyone who glances at it can quickly see whether the vaccine freezer temperature is safe of not.
The Vaccine Freezer alarm uses very accurate thermistors to sample the temperature every few seconds displaying the result on the vaccine freezer alarm monitor. If it determines that the temperature is too warm it triggers a text, email and/or phone call to multiple people so they are immediately alerted if the vaccines are in danger.
The vaccine freezer alarm also automatically logs the temperature so a complete history of the temperature conditions can be accessed at any time to verify what the temperature was during the last week, month or even year.
Vaccines stored in -80°C freezers.
Some vaccines, including the COVID 19 vaccines must be stored in freezers that maintain temperatures below -80°C. The Vaccine Freezer Alarm can be configured with T-type thermocouples for this application. The T-Type thermocouple sensors are not as accurate as the thermistors, ±1.0°C, but they have very good repeatability. You can have every confidence that the temperature displayed on the monitor is accurate.
A temperature log is maintained in the Vaccine freezer alarm to provide proof that the vaccines were stored at the correct temperature. A trend chart can even be viewed on the monitor
The Vaccine freezer alarm also generates printed reports for CDC, VFC, FDA, JCAHO and anyone else who needs proof that stored materials have been properly stored. It exceeds all state and federal requirements. Having the Easy Freezer Alarm means that there is one less thing to have to worry about each day and during audits.
